Label Adhesive Types - which is most suitable?

Permanent Adhesive
Internet Labels use as standard an Acrylic, water borne general purpose, strong permanent adhesive with a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Our stock labels are suitable for most applications and provide good adhesion to all normal substrates, including films and corrugated board meaning our labels can be used for everything from product labels including barcodes to shipping and storage labels.
 
Safe for contact with food
As more and more labels are used to label food it is important to minimise toxicity risks and adhesive products are tested for BfR compliance. The BfR test materials according to German regulations. Although the regulations apply to Germany, because the BfR is the optimal European regulation, it is accepted across the EC. Internet Labels standard adhesive has been given BfR approval for direct contact with dry and moist non-fatty foods, and is ISEGA and FDA approved.
 
Peelable (low tack) Adhesive
Internet Labels can supply labels with a low tack peelable adhesive. This can be especially useful when labelling a product directly to enable the end user to remove the label easily, leaving little or no residue. Our peelable adhesive has a working temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. The low tack adhesive is also approved for direct contact with dry and moist non-fatty foods under the same regulations as our standard label adhesive.

Deep Freeze
Our deep freeze adhesive has an ISEGA food contact approval and an operating temperature range of -40°C - +80°C designed to be used when very good adhesion at low temperature is required.

High Tack
This type of permanent adhesive offers a strong initial grab to the application surfaces, and is commonly used to allow labels to adhere strongly to difficult, rough or dirty surfaces such as vehicle tyres or corroded metal. Minimum application temperature is 5°C with a service temperature range of -20°C to +100°C. This adhesive has also been approved by the research centre ISEGA, according to European requirements EU10/2011, for use in labelling of food packaging materials. In addition it may be used for direct contact with dry, non-fatty foodstuffs.
 
Specialist
Specialist adhesives for arduous or mission critical applications are also available. Examples include haz-chem and blood bag labelling. These special grade adhesives have been designed to meet very stringent standards and endure extreme environmental conditions. They can have operational temperature windows of between -80°C and +120°C, ideal to adhere to moist or icy surfaces even at -80°C and conform to frozen and wrinkled blood plasma bags.
